Melinda Esco

Melinda Esco spent her early years in the publishing industry as a typesetter and paste-up artist working for a university, a commercial printer, a type house, and an art production studio. She also owned a typesetting/publication design business in Austin. Later, she worked at Harcourt College Publishers in Fort Worth--first as a Production Manager and then as Database Administrator in the Intellectual Property Resources department until Harcourt was sold and it closed. As Production Manager, Melinda handles production for the Press that includes working with designers and printers, archiving digital files, working with online repositories and vendors, and keeping the Web site up-to-date. She holds a BA degree in Communication/Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington.
